Osta's researchers have developed proprietary transgenic mouse models, which offer a unique and critical forum to screen new therapeutics for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. The company intends to use these models for their own in-house drug development programs as well as to license them to various pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
